COMFORT

Very comfortable to wear thanks to the extremely lightweight and flexible frame made of SPX™ material and Flex Zones™ integrated in the frame. The Traction Grip™ material at the end of the temples ensures optimum grip. If the Quick-Release Hinge™ system is placed under excessive strain, the temple detaches from the frame – it can simply be clicked back on again. The temples were designed especially to sit flat behind the ears for comfortable wear under a cap or a visor, without getting in the way.

VISION

The specially curved filters are designed for golf, providing a wide angle of vision and perfect protection for the eyes. Unobstructed vision is guaranteed to the sides as well as up and down. A wide range of filters means you can see as clearly as possible in all weather conditions. For example, the LST™ active silver and the LST™ contrast silver (also in light) – delivering high contract on the green – and the LST™ polarized. The polarising filters effectively eliminate light coming from highly reflective surfaces like water and bunker sand, while improving contrast and colour perception. All filters meet the standards of optical quality class 1 and guarantee 100 % protection from UVA, UVB and UVC. At the request of professional golfers, the Double-Snap Nose Pads™ of the retego were specially colour designed in transparent brown. VISUAL ACUITY

Like all Performance Sport models of adidas eyewear, the retego can be fitted with optical correction to correct impaired vision among golfers. The RX adapter system can be used to fit direct glazing to the half-frame model. With the adapter, the filters simply clip in and out of the frame after your optician has glazed your adapter. This means that in a matter of seconds, you can insert filters either with or without optical correction. Alternatively, simply clip in the Performance Insert™. This optical insert is secured to the bridge behind the filters. After changing the filter, it can simply be clipped back onto the bridge – suitable for wearers who need to change filters quickly because of the changing light on the golf course, but refuse to compromise on their vision.
