The Elastic strap can be added to make Ekynox Sx the perfect optical solution for endurance sports. Using Rudy Project‘s platform technologies like 360° adjustable temples, adjustable Ergonose II™, Quick Change™ interchangeable lenses, optional RX-ability with insert and optional elastic strap, the EKYNOX SX™ is sure to be the definitive piece of equipment to enhance performance while offering cutting-edge styling.

Quick Change Lens System

The system of interchangeable lenses called Quick Change™ is one of the basic technologies of our technical and sport glasses. Adjustable Temples

The temple tips can be adjusted in any direction by applying gentle pressure. Rudy Project employs no-slip components that do not fail in the heat of the moment. This unique technology ensures maximum comfort, a perfect fit during any use and eliminates fogging and pinching.

Safety Project

Safety Project is a unique Rudy Project feature that creates fold-in-hinge without any sharp edges. Designed to minimise injury in case of impact or falls.

IMPACTX™ Lenses

IMPACTX™ has lower refractive index, internal stress and chromatic dispersion than polycarbonate, resulting in sharper images, higher definition, reduces “rainbowing”, and more visual comfort. Unlike polycarbonate and polyamide , IMPACTX™ is not attacked by common chemicals or solvents.

In the event of a fall or a collision IMPACTX™ are guaranteed not to break or crack. Furthermore they are 16% lighter than CR-39 and 10% lighter than Polycarbonate. 

Prescription Clip-On Inserts

For more technical sunglasses that can't support a direct in-frame prescription, Rudy Project has created CLIP-ON RX optical inserts that can be snapped in behind the Rudy Project lenses. The Clip-ons can be inserted or removed with ease. This is particularly useful when you want to wear your contact lenses or when cleaning.

The Rudy Project Ekynox SX sunglasses are available in a wide range of optical choices: photochromic ImpactX, laser, multilaser and bichromic.

For particular light conditions, rudy project offers technically advanced specialty lenses with high visual quality tailored to your needs. The various lenses enable you to perform and excel in any light or atmospheric condition you may encounter.

The below lenses are available for Ekynox SX sunglasses to match the frame colour variations. Replacement lenses are also available if you require flexibility with changing light conditions.

	Smoke - Transmits 22% of the light and is ideal for moderately sunny days or winter days.
	Laser Deg/Bichromic - A partial "laser" gradient coating is applied to a different colour base lens. The gradient density (darker at the top/lighter at the bottom) makes it perfect for variable weather.
	Racing Red - High Optical quality lenses in high definition Polycarbonate treated with multi layered coating to enhance visual depth and eliminate eye fatigue. The Racing Red lens was engineered for serious athletes and "techno files".
	Laser - Engineered for sunny days and bright light conditions, Laser™ lenses provide 400 UV protection. A chrome mirror finish is applied to the outer surface, which reduces glare without altering the performance of the lens underneath.
	Multilaser - The Multilaser series have been developed with a special process implementing very thin “mirror”coatings on the lens surface, improving its resistance and its superb cosmetic aspect. Multilaser Red and Multilaser Orange are available for the Gozen.
	ImpactX Polarised Photochromic Grey - Rudy Project ImpactX polarised lenses offer razor-sharp clarity and cut glare while allowing you to see your digital read outs. The Photochromic element of the lens enhances visual acuity for any climatic conditions changing the tint from light to dark grey by reacting with UV rays.
