Flexible hinge on the side of the goggles. Articulating outriggers maintain a perfect fit for your goggles whilst wearing a ski helmet, and distribute pressure evenly across the face to provide a complete seal. The outrigger also ensures the optics of the goggles are not compromised by excess strain on the goggle.
Materials such as Urethane enable the frame to remain flexible in extreme cold temperatures.
Goggles designed to fit over the top of everyday regular glasses. Usually a section of the foam is cut away to fit the arms of the glasses. Examples include the Oakley Proven OTG, the Bolle Quasar OTG and the Smith Knowledge OTG Turbo Fan.
VentilationPorts in the frame allow air to reach the inner lens surface, which keeps it dry and therefore the goggles remain fog-free. Vents can be fixed, adjustable or even aided by micro-electric fans (see Smith Phenom, Prodigy or Knowledge Turbo Fans).
Silicon strips runn the length of the strap to keep the goggles in place whilst wearing a ski helmet.
Allow the goggles to be taken off and put on easily, and won't pull your hair!
Multi-Layer Face FoamDouble or triple layer foam maximises comfort. Soft polar fleece linings are the ultimate in ski goggle luxury, as they avoid the red marks at the end of the day and ensure all-day comfort. Of equal importance the additional layers maintain air-flow around the goggle lens whilst keeping moisture out and therefore providing fog-free vision.
Come as standard on all of our ski goggles, allowing you to perfect the fit - and enable the goggles to be worn with or without a helmet.
