Straps

Found on some of our more technical sunglasses (e.g. Adidas Evil Eye Explorer) elastic head straps add extra stability. This makes the glasses absolutely ideal for extreme sports and the most active sports, such as football or squash.

Vents

Can either be in the frame (e.g. Oakley Radar or between the frame and lens (e.g. Rudy Project Ekynox SX). Either way, they have the same objective; to prevent fogging so that no matter how extreme the conditions your vision never has to compromise.

Sweat Blockers

Ideal for active sports in hot conditions. The sweat blocker attaches to the top brow of the sunglasses. They are designed to prevent sweat running down your forehead and getting into your eyes, and also stops the sweat from getting on the lenses and smearing.

Foam Surrounds

Found on sunglasses designed specifically for winter sports, motor-cycling and demanded by sky-divers as wellExamples include the Adidas Elevation Climacool and a number of Wiley X sunglasses and the Rudy Project Guardyan. Foam gaskets prevent dust, wind, insects and pollen from affecting your eyes. They can slso help prevent dry eye syndrome.

Adjustable Nose Pads and Temple Tips

Maximise comfort by preventing painful pinching, whilst ensuring the eyewear remains steady on your face and does not slip down your nose. The ability to adjust pads and tips allows you to have truly personalised eyewear without having to repeatedly visit an optician especially important given the constant rigours of sport.
