Kit out the Kids

February 2020

Each season we see brands pushing the style and technology in their products further and further. As a result kids goggles and helmets are now better than ever and share many features of their full size counter parts. So If your heading out with your little shredders this season be sure to check out our top picks for kids this season.

Anon Rime Ski Helmet and Tracker Goggles

Anon’s Rime and Tracker make the perfect combo, a great lightweight helmet and just like you will find in the adults collection it is kitted out with Endura-shell and a Fidlock buckle. It also has a multi-season certification meaning your kids can use it off the snow on their bikes, scooters and skateboards too,  just remember to whip out the ear pads to keep them cool in the summer.  The Tracker is a superb goggle for kids, well vented, super comfy face foam and a silicon backed strap ensures the goggle is comfy to wear and is not going to fall off their helmet so they can focus on learning to bomb hills and show the adults how it’s done.

Giro Crue MIPS and Rev Goggles

Thanks to its tough Hard Shell construction, fused with MIPS technology and skate style, the Giro Cue MIPS is a firm favourite with the RxSport staff parents and kids. Partner them up with the Giro Rev kids goggle for the perfect fit.

Oakley MOD1 Youth MIPS Helmet

New for the 2019/2020 season is the Oakley MOD1 Youth MIPS, a scaled down version of Oakleys latest helmet and their first skate style helmet, it’s got everything! MIPS, BOA 360 fit sytem, a Fidlock buckle and built in goggle vents, what more could you want from a “kids” helmet. Designed to fit perfectly with Oakleys smaller goggles such as the Oakley O Frame 2.0 Pro XS and Oakley Line Miner Youth, not only are they going to look the part, but they’ll be well protected too.

Bern Bandito MIPS Helmet

Bern bandito | 1

If your kid loves to spend their time at the snowpark or even riding park here in the UK’s domes and dryslope then Berns Bandito MIPS helmet is the way to go. The brimmed thinshell lid looks great as sits nice and low. A very well vented helmet will ensure they do not get too hot whilst riding rails and hitting jumps. The addition of MIPS is a great bonus for a helmet at this price point too. Certified for use on the snow and in the park, the Bandito’s removable liner means this lid can be made full use of all year long.
