Full-frame Wraparound

Semi-Rimless

The most popular shape for tennis, as worn by Janko Tipsarevic. The open-lens design ensures you can keep your eye on the ball throughout your stroke. Wraparound semi-rimless designs are also lightweight, and often allow interchangeable lenses.

Rimless / Shield Type Sunglasses

Shield

A wraparound shield is a great option for maximising visual field. The lack of frame often means you often forget you are wearing them. As worn by top pro Samantha Stoser.

PRESCRIPTION

Directly glazed sunglasses minimise weight, and maximise field of view. When coupled with interchangeable lenses, inserts maximise flexibility so you can match the light conditions. We would not recommend varifocals for tennis, as the full lens area is required as you move around the court.

Naked Eye
Selected Lens
GREY - A neutral tint, ideal for bright conditions.
BROWN - An effective blue light filter, these lenses will help pick the ball up in flight against a blue sky. Primarily for bright conditions, these lenses offer slightly more flexibility than grey lenses.
VERMILLION - A rose lens will soothe the eyes, and is flexible enough to be worn in almost any weather. Ideal for changeable conditions, and an effective contrast enhancer.
ORANGE - For overcast dull days. Orange lenses brighten and enhance contrast.
COMPETIVISION - Bolle Competivision lenses are designed to mute every colour in the spectrum except optic yellow, making the tennis ball stand out so you can react quicker.
