The Vantage Women's is a Smith legend, the go-to for skiers in search of the best in everything. This hybrid shell helmet offers Aerocore construction featuring Koroyd, maximising protection whilst offering increased airflow. The BOA 360 fit system delivers dialled-in comfort right out of the box. The Vantage is the perfect blend of technology and style.
The Vantage was built for the hardcore, demanding the ultimate in everything. Using Aerocore construction that features Koroyd simultaneously maximizes full coverage protection and increased airflow. For the most custom fit, the Vantage offers the Boa 360 fit system with a 360° halo design.
The design philosophy behind Aerocore circulation is to increase airflow and improve temperature regulation, resulting in fog-free vision and improved impact resistance. These goals were achieved through the use of Koroyd, a material that absorbs more energy upon impact when compared to international standards, while enhancing airflow. Aerocore construction allows for more vents to be placed throughout the helmet with no compromise on protection or comfort.
Koroyd's precise and unique thermal welding process leads to a structure with both extremely efficient energy absorption properties. Upon impact, the cores crush in a controlled manner, decelerating the energy from the impact and reducing the final trauma levels.
Thousands of co-polymer extruded tubes thermally welded to create a consistent and fully engineered core. Each Koroyd section is engineered to precise durometer, size, and thickness specifications to provide the greatest impact resistance and consistent presentation.
Koroyd is fully breathable with no compromise on impact performance. The open cell structure allows cool air in while exhausting hot air. This construction integrates with internal channels to create the full Aerocore construction to provide ventilated protection.
A blend of lightweight in-mold polycarbonate and tough ABS hardshell, positioned strategically throughout the shell to provide maximum protection in areas of likely impact.
Expanded polystyrene (EPS) coats the inside of the helmet shell to absorb energy by compressing in the event of impact, reducing the risk of head injury.
The multi-directional impact protection system. A low-friction membrane absorbs rotational energy from oblique impact, reducing violent forces on the brain and associated injury.
Fit & Comfort Technology
BOA 360° Fit System
A dial-actuated adjustable fitting system. The helmet is capable of accommodating a range of sizes by tightening or loosening to provide a comfortable and secure fit.
XT2 Anti-Bacterial Lining
The helmet lining is applied with anti-microbial material to inhibit the build-up of unpleasant odour due to prolonged use, helping to keep your helmet fresh.
Designed to match the curvature of goggle frames and using special goggle ventilation channels to create seamless airflow and reduce the risk of lens fogging.
Dual Regulator Adjustable Vents
Independently controls the front and rear sections of the helmet’s venting, allowing you to moderate your body temperature even in extremely cold conditions
Audio Compatible Ear Pads
The ear pads on this helmet feature enclosures for the use of after-market audio systems. Browse our range of in-helmet audio systems.
