It’s getting towards the middle of summer (apparently!). We asked the team to choose their favourite frames of this season!
Here’s what we chose!
Fil (aka Optical Man) – Office Manager:
Favourite frame – 100% Type S
The Type-S looks and feels great both on and off the bike. I really feel it bridges the gap between style and performance. It’s a classically styled frame which is packed full of technical features including their HiPER lens technology. The full-wrap design provides protection from light and reduces movement on your face, while the rubber coated nose pads and temple arms offer great fit and comfort!

Stacey – Sales Assistant Extraordinaire:
Favourite frame – Red Bull SPECT Wing 3
I love how versatile the frame is – at first glance, they’re a really nice casual frame and you could get away with wearing them as an everyday pair. On the other hand, they are extremely lightweight yet sturdy and the Dual Temple system “wing” make them perfect for running or cycling. The ultimate sports-lifestyle frame!

Johnny – Cycles a bit and writes these blogs:
Favourite frame – Rudy Project Spinair 59
One of the most underrated active-lifestyle frames out there! They’re so cool and I love the double bridge, it adds a bit of spice to my life! Rudy Project lenses are amazing too, the clarity is excellent and the Navy/Red combination works so well.

Paige – Dispatch/Marketing whizz:
Favourite frame – Dragon Hype
They are the perfect everyday pair of sunglasses. I have them in prescription, they are super lightweight and comfortable to wear. The clarity of the lenses is amazing! I usually suck with keeping glasses in one piece, so these are perfect as they are sturdy and fashionable!

Zoe – Dispensing Optician/Problem Solver:
Favourite frame – Ray-Ban Erika
The Erika is a timeless style and because it is so light, I sometimes forget I’m wearing it! Perfectly compatible with prescription lenses to so it is very versatile. Ray-Ban lenses are beautiful and some of the new colour combinations are so stylish!

Mark – The web guy (not spider-man):
Favourite frame – Oakley Flak Draft
I’m always trying to get out and about after work and at the weekends and I find the Flak Draft is the perfect frame for my activities! I use them for golf and for running and they’ve never let me down; a perfect frame for sports in my opinion!

Callum – The eyewear guru:
Favourite frame – Ray-Ban RB4228
Who can go wrong with Ray-Ban? They’re very lightweight so perfect for those long laid back days in the garden. Ray-Ban’s polarised lenses work a treat and in my opinion are among the best around!
