With 30 years experience of professional opticians to call on, and an almost unhealthy addiction to sport running through the company, it was a natural progression for us to set up RxSport. Since coming online in 2005, the RxSport team have built up an unrivalled knowledge of the non-prescription and prescription sunglasses, sports glasses and ski goggles now available within the sports eyewear market. By giving you the benefit of our expertise, we hope to maximise your sporting performance by helping your eyesight reach its potential. Following intense customer pressure, we started to offer a range of high quality ski helmets in 2006. We now feel we offer one of the most diverse and carefully selected helmet ranges on the market, with helmets from Smith, Bolle, Quiksilver and Roxy. As with our eyewear, every single helmet is hand picked by our keen skiers and snowboarders.
As authorised dealers for all the brands we stock, we have direct access to their knowledge and experience. Consequently, we know that all the sunglasses, ski helmets and goggles we offer are genuine and of outstanding quality, and as such most come with manufacturers' guarantees. We also feel a responsibility to look after your long term sight by providing the best possible protection; this ranges from obvious impact risks to the hidden UV damage that your chosen sport may present. Therefore, all our glasses and goggles offer 100% UVA and UVB protection, and we only use polycarbonate lenses for the outer lenses we supply for impact sports. This dual commitment to optimising vision and maximising protection means that we are dedicated to minimising glare, enhancing contrast and maximising acuity. In order to achieve this, we have sourced some of the highest quality products from across Europe and North America, that blend pioneering technology with cutting edge style.
